“Growing Together” CPS Roundtable Day 4: A unique Southern Day

A unique Southern Day for CPS guests, donors from Danmission, The Outreach Foundation, PCUSA and HEKS a long day that began and ended in Saida. The National Evangelical Institute for Girls and Boys was the first stop where the group was met by children practicing their songs for next month’s school graduation; discussions focused on expanding the school’s capacity through new income. In Tyre, stop at CPS’s Children Refugee Center followed by a walk through the city’s historic center and boutique hotel district. In Aalma El Chaab the delegates met the local committee then toured the old houses identified to become a heritage hotel themselves. The day ended with a dinner of local traditional foods inside Saida’s Turkish Bath, Hammam El Sheikh.
